I HAVE A COLLECTION OF 9.5MM FILMS AND/OR PROJECTOR - IS IT VALUABLE ?

No! sorry ... despite what you may have seen/heard on a recent TV programme 9.5mm films and equipment are not very valuable! Cinema films were released mostly on 35mm, and even here many many prints of films are made, so it's only a very old, rare 35mm film that may have some value. The Pathe 9.5mm home-movie films were sold in their thousands to children and parents from about 1923 till after the second war. The films were shortened and often retitled. A 'one reel' (100m/300ft on a 7inch spool) will sell for up to about £5 when complete, in good condition and boxed. The little 30ft/60ft shorts fetch only £1 or so. Naturally a dealer will only offer less than half this at best. 9.5mm optical sound films are a little more collectable, and I myself would offer up to £8 or so per reel providing they are in good complete condition. Projectors and cameras will sell for anything from £5 upwards, with only one or two rare items fetching over £100.
